The Medical University of Gdańsk is implementing an innovative project called Young Scientist Program, the aim of which is to support students interested in developing their competencies and conducting research work.
The founder and coordinator of the project is Prof. Dr. Habil. Miłosz Jarosław Jaguszewski the 1st Department of Cardiology of the Medical University of Gdańsk, President of Club 30 of the Polish Society of Cardiology. At the beginning of his scientific career, he had the opportunity to benefit from a similar form of support at one of the largest clinical hospitals in Europe – at the Charite University of Berlin.
Changes in the field of education, including increasing student support and improving study conditions, are one of the main strategic goals of MUG’s development in the coming years. In this matter, the initiative was supported by Prof. Dr. Habil. Jacek Bigda, Acting Chancellor and Vice-Rector for Development and Organization of Education at our University.
Recruitment for the 3rd edition of the program is currently underway.
