The University Electoral Commission announced on 29 March 2024 a list of candidates for the position of Rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk for the term 2024-2028. The following, listed in alphabetical order, will be running for leadership of the University for the next four years:

The three Professors have received a positive opinion from the Senate of the MUG, and the University Board has also indicated their candidature for the position of Rector for the term 2024-2028.
Pre-election meetings are scheduled from 2nd to 19th of April 2024, according to the candidates’ proposals.

RECTOR’S ELECTIONS ON 24TH OF APRIL
The election of the Rector at the Medical University of Gdańsk will take place STATIONARY on 24th of April at 12:00 at the Sports Centre. The election meeting consists of two parts: in the first part, the candidates present their program of activities and answer any questions from members of the Electoral College, and in the second part, the elections take place. This will be decided by the Electoral College consisting of 472 persons eligible to vote, representing all groups of the academic community: staff, students, and doctoral students.
