The academic year 2021/2022 at the Medical University of Gdańsk begins on 01.10.2021 and lasts until 30.09.2022. The course of the academic year is as follows.

• *Summer semester for Pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturing and the 6^th year of Medical Faculty – Polish and English Division may last till 30.06.2022.
• 11.10.2021 there will be Rector’s Hours due to the inauguration of the academic year.
• Orientation course for first-year students of English Division from 24.09.2021 to 30.09.2021.
• The examination session dates do not apply to students doing their courses in the block system; in this case the continuous examination session system applies (the examinations are held directly upon completion of the relevant course block).
• Vocational training consistent with the programme of studies is obligatory during the academic year.
• Exam dates, holidays and holiday breaks do not apply to 6th year students of pharmacy.
