I was lucky to be able to hit on a fertile ground and to develop further when I returned from abroad. I would like to thank my University for that – said Prof. Miłosz Jaguszewski. – Science is an additional element of our activity, because being a doctor is not a simple task. Apart from the fact that you have to act analytically, you also have to be a humanist. A very important, if not the most important element is cooperation with the patient. I hope most of the votes I received came from my patients.

The competition jury appreciated the achievements of Prof. Jaguszewski in the field of medicine, science and commercialization of the developed solutions. The laureate of the Sztorm Naukowy is a co-founder and main researcher of the first International Takotsubo Register, as well as the originator and coordinator of the MUG’s Young Scientist Program intended for young scientists studying at our University. He is also a co-author of a patent for a device isolating a patient with a suspected infectious disease, improving the safety of patients and medical staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. In September 2021, the Professor also received the honorary doctorate of the International European University in Kiev (IEU) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of medicine.
