English Division medical students' graduation ceremony

Ninety-nine alumni of 2015-2021 English Division medical studies have collected their diplomas. During the ceremony organised on 28th of June in Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic in Gdańsk Rector of the MUG Prof. Marcin Gruchała, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Radosław Owczuk, Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine: Prof. Ewa Słomińska, Prof. Paweł Zagożdżon, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Habil. Aida Kusiak, Dr. Habil. Maria Bieniaszewska and Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Habil. Danuta Siluk, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Habil. Anna Żaczek, Deputy Dean of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology UG & MUG were at the presidential table. The event has been held by students’ representatives: Julia Kowalski and Marlon Souza Luis, the best foreign student in Poland, winner of this year’s edition of INTERSTUDENT contest.
Among invited guests were also: Prof. Maria Dudziak, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for term 2012-2020, Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine for the same term: Prof. Maria Alicja Dębska-Ślizień and Prof. Michał Żmijewski, as well as Prof. Ewa Bień from the Department of Paediatrics, Haemathology & Oncology, Jacek Kaczmarek Ph.D. – International Alumni Relations Officer, representative of the Association of Graduates of the MUG, 5th year English Division medical students’ guardian and Dr. Habil. Sławomir Wójcik, Head of the University Admissions Office and multi-year 1st year English Division medical students’ guardian.
Prof. Marcin Gruchała, Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki, Prof. Maria Dudziak, Jacek Kaczmarek Ph.D. and Prof. Ewa Bień, as well as Julia Kowalski, graduates’ representative gave occassional speeches.
