Hybrid system teaching

14.09.2020

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic situation in Poland and the related regulations and restrictions, in the new academic year, the Medical University of Gdańsk introduces teaching in a hybrid system. This means that all lectures and seminars, as well as most of the elective courses, will be carried out online, while the traditional form will apply to practical clinical and laboratory classes requiring students’ contact with the patient and their direct interaction with the teaching staff. Detail information on study plans for individual fields of study is available on both the BIP website and on the University extranet, where you can find attachments for English Division: M.D. Programme, Master of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Nursing.

In order to ensure the highest safety standards, a decision was made to reduce the number of groups participating in direct classes, especially in closed laboratory spaces. In addition, tutors of individual years are trying to arrange plans in such a way that online and traditional classes are carried out in separate time slots, on different days or in alternating weeks.

The rules of accommodation in dormitories are defined in the Rector’s decree of September 7, 2020.
