The election debates are about to begin

The three candidates for the position of rector of the MUG in the 2024-2028 term began their election meetings with the university community. First, Prof. Michał Markuszewski, Prof. Radosław Owczuk and Prof. Edyta Szurowska faced questions prepared by the community of students and doctoral students. The debate, organised by the University Student Government of the MUG and the MUG’s Doctoral Students’ Council, took place on 9 April. The meeting was chaired by Aleksandra Drzycimska, Chairperson of the University Student Government, and Dagmara Kroll, Chairperson of the Doctoral Students’ Council.

Subsequent meetings will take place according to the calendar set by the candidates. Questions can be asked via an electronic form.

As announced by the Chairman of the Electoral College of the MUG, Prof. Wiesław Cubała, the rectoral election at the MUG will be held STATIONALLY on 24 April at 12:00 in the Sports Centre. The election meeting will consist of two parts: in the first part, the candidates will present their programme of activities and answer any questions from members of the Electoral College, and in the second part, the election will take place. The election will be decided by the Electoral College, consisting of 472 persons eligible to vote, representing all groups of the academic community: staff, students, and doctoral students.
