Research seminar "…where discovery science meets clinical medicine"

The next scientific seminar of the …where discovery science meets clinical medicine series will take place on 26th March 2025 at 2:30 p.m. in the Prof. Zdzisław Kieturakis Auditorium at the Invasive Medicine Centre UCC.

The guests at the March meeting will be Prof. Aleksandra Żurowska, M.D., Ph.D. from Department of Paediatrics, Nephrology and Hypertension and Prof. Marcin Okrój, Ph.D. from Division of Cell Biology and Immunology. The topic will be: Two faces of the complement system: rare kidney diseases and support of cancer immunotherapy.

The seminar will be conducted in English. After the meeting, the organisers invite you for refreshments – this will pose a great opportunity to network with researchers interested in collaboration.

Dr. Habil. Aleksandra Rutkowska is the meetings’ initiator. Just like in the case of previous seminar, the event will be hosted by Prof. Krzysztof Narkiewicz, Head of the Department of Hypertension and Diabetology at the MUG.
