30th International Student Scientific Conference (ISSC)

We are excited to invite you to the 30th edition of the International Students’ Scientific Conference (ISSC), a dynamic event bringing together young researchers from around the world. The conference will take place from April 10th to 12th. This year’s theme, “Celebrating CURE-iosities – 30 Years of Transformative Science,” highlights three decades of scientific innovation and collaboration.

The conference will feature Lectures from special guests providing participants with knowledge and inspiration. Dr. Chiara Colli will give a lecture titled “Why is a multimodal approach important for understanding psychopathology?”, while Prof. Dorota Hoffman-Zacharska will talk about “Precision and personalized – genomic driven medicine”. We have collaborated with Student Scientific Circles and specialists from various fields in order to provide as many as 18 Interactive Workshops covering a wide range of medical healthcare-related disciplines!

The conference will consist of 15 Scientific Sessions, in categories such as Surgery, Midwifery, Oncology, and our new addition – Rare diseases! The 5 highest scoring presentations across all categories will be presented during the prestigious Plenary Session, where participants can compete with the best by presenting their research once more – this time in front of a special panel of very esteemed jury members.

What we are most excited about is a Panel Discussion “Legacy in Action – 30 years of ISSC” – as it is the 30th jubilee edition of the conference, we have invited guests who have contributed to the existence of the ISSC since its beginning. Together, we’ll dive deep into the ISSC history. Join us for a session filled with memories and special moments. ISSC is a great opportunity to build international contacts and exchange experiences with peers and medical professionals. This event is ideal for medical students and young scientists who want to expand their knowledge, develop scientific skills and gain experience in an international environment.
