Free radicals in biology, medicine, sport and nutrition

On behalf of the organising committee of Free Radicals Conference it is our pleasure to invite you to Gdańsk, Poland on 27-28 June 2025. It’s one of the largest international conferences in Central and Eastern Europe on free radicals and physical biochemistry. The first edition of the Free Radicals Conference attracted over 300 participants. The event is dedicated to the memory of Polish biochemist Professor Jerzy Popinigis. The Free radicals in biology, medicine, sport, and nutrition conference will take place in the Atheneum Gedanense Novum at the Medical University of Gdańsk.

Presentations and meetings with world-class scientists and researchers, among speakers you will find scientists from such countries like Italy, Japan, the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Poland including the students of Professor Jerzy Popinigis, who continue some research he started, as well as his foreign collaborators and colleagues.

Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a poster presentation session, where they can showcase their research findings, including in visual formats like scientific posters.

Additionally, a poster competition for the Prof. Jerzy Popinigis Prize will be held, open to early-career researchers such as students and doctoral candidates.
