Students of the MUG as co-authors of a publication in a prestigious journal

Assoc Prof. Dr. Habil. Łukasz Balwicki along with Marta Miller, Jagoda Arendt, Michał Markiewicz, and Katarzyna Michta, members of the Student Scientific Circle of Public Health at the Medical University of Gdańsk co-authored a scientific article entitled Real-life dosing conditions in older adults and geriatric patients in Poland – An international questionnaire study to investigate the regional differences indrug intake behaviour in the older population, published in the prestigious European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IF 4,3).

The scientific paper was prepared as part of a collaboration between the Student Scientific Circle and the Institute of Pharmacy at the University of Greifswald in Germany. The article aims to present real-world conditions of medication use among patients aged 65 and older and to compare data from Poland with findings from a previous study conducted in Germany, based on the same questionnaire.
