SSC Rare Diseases Awarded in the StRuNa Competition!

17.12.2024

The SSC Rare Diseases, at the Department and Clinic of Pediatrics, Hematology, and Oncology, received a distinction in the “Debut of the Year 2024” category in the nationwide StRuNa competition, which highlights the best projects carried out by students and PhD candidates.

During the final gala at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw on November 23, 2024, Minister of Science Dariusz Wieczorek presented the award to Kornelia Polat and Cecylia Ambroży. This recognition is a tribute to all members and a summary of their achievements over the past academic year. This success would not have been possible without the support and commitment of Dr. Karolina Śledzińska, the supervisor of the circle.

More than 300 student and PhD groups entered the competition, making this recognition even more special. The members of SSC Rare Diseases are grateful for the award and motivated to continue their work on behalf of people with rare diseases.
