The University Clinical Centre was recognised for the efficient management of the facility

The University Clinical Centre, a hospital of the Medical University of Gdańsk, was recognized for the efficient management of the facility and has been awarded 4th place in “Clinical Hospitals and Institutes” category during the 9th edition of the “Leaders in Management – the best managed public hospitals” event. The award ceremony was attended by the CEO of the University Clinical Centre, Dr. Jakub Kraszewski.

This year’s edition of the competition was attended by over 400 entities (including clinical hospitals, institutes and non-public health facilities). The methodology of the plebiscite was constructed by the experts within the medical sector. The committee distinguished healthcare facilities for the most effective management in terms of finances, human resources, as well as high quality patient care.

The aim of the initiative is to promote good practices in the health sector. The recognised hospitals could be an inspiration for the other entities within the sector in terms of improving healthcare standards and good management of available resources.
