Graduation ceremony of the medical – ED studies class 2024

One hundred and forty-four graduates of the Medical Faculty – English Division of the 2018-2024 class received their diplomas. The ceremony, held on 1 July 2024 at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Fryderyk Chopin in Gdańsk, was attended by the following people behind the presidential table: the Rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk, Prof. Marcin Gruchała, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Habil. Tomasz Smiatacz, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Radosław Owczuk, Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine: Prof. Ewa Słomińska, Dr. Habil. Maria Bieniaszewska, Prof. Paweł Zagożdżon, Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki, as well as Prof. Piotr Wąż, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and Dr. Habil. Bartosz Wielgomas, Assoc. Prof., Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy
Among the guests were also: Ewa Siewierska-Chomeniuk, D.D.S. – member of the Presidium of the Regional Medical Council in Gdańsk, Jacek Kaczmarek, Ph.D., International Alumni Relations Officer, Magdalena Pramfelt – Honorary Consul of Sweden in Gdańsk, Prof. Ewa Bryl – Head of the Department of Physiopathology, Katarzyna Rückemann-Dziurdzińska, Ph.D. from the Department of Physiopathology, supervisor of third-year medical students – ED, as well as Katarzyna Sawicka, M.A. and Arkadiusz Suska, M.A. from the Department of Sport and Physical Education of the MUG.
Commemorative speeches were made by: Rector Prof. Marcin Gruchała, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Habil. Tomasz Smiatacz, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Radosław Owczuk, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki, Ewa Siewierska-Chomeniuk, D.D.S., Jacek Kaczmarek, Ph.D. and Magdalena Pramfelt, as well as alumni representatives: Nina Caroline Arnesen, M.D., Shraddha Singh, M.D. and Amir Suljevic, M.D.. After taking the medical oath, the graduates received their diplomas from the hands of the Rector and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
