Hematopathology Summer Meeting

The Hematopathology Summer Meeting will be held on 8-9 July this year in a hybrid format: online and in the Atheneum Gedanense Novum (AGN) building. The organisers of the event are the Medical University of Gdańsk, COPERNICUS Podmiot Leczniczy Sp. z o.o. M. Kopernik Hospital, and the Regional Medical Chamber in Gdańsk.

The meeting is aimed at pathologists, haematologists, oncologists, and representatives of other specialties, and will focus on diseases of the haematopoietic and lymphatic systems. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to lectures from national and international specialists and take part in workshops combined with presentations of interesting and rare cases submitted by participants and poster sessions. The Regional Medical Chamber has awarded 9 educational points to conference participants. The conference aims to provide a scientific and educational forum for those interested in the field of haematopathology.

Among the invited speakers is Prof. German Ott from Stuttgart, a world expert in haematopathology, who will detail the latest WHO classification of lymphomas and lead the workshop sessions. The moderator of the meeting will also be Monika Klimkowska, Ph.D., an alumni of the MUG, and consultant at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm.
