The Advancing Healthcare Through Innovative Technologies workshop will take place on 24 May from 9 am to 1 pm in the Kieturakis Lecture Hall, Centre for Invasive Medicine and online. The event is organised by: Prof. Ryszard Smoleński, Head of the Department of Biochemistry of the MUG and Dr. Habil. Beata Schlichtholz from the same unit, Anna Supernat, Ph.D. from the Division of Translational Oncology of the MUG and Edward Griffor, Ph.D. from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA. The meeting will be conducted in English.
VISION
Bringing cutting-edge AI-enabled technology innovation in healthcare to better the human condition. This requires a close collaboration between multiple disciplines, including Healthcare, Medical Science, Biochemistry and Bioengineering, Mathematical and Quantum Science, AI and Data Analytics, and manufacturing, as well as Business and Finance. While each of these disciplines has its own language, priorities, and culture, such a collaboration equips physicians, and other healthcare professionals, with critical and emerging technologies to improve the delivery and quality of care.
MISSION
This workshop brings together experts from various fields to explore the potential contributions of their domains to healthcare innovation. The purpose of this event is to encourage dialogue, foster collaboration between different disciplines, and discuss ways collaboration between them can be improved to stimulate and accelerate trustworthy, high-impact healthcare innovation.
