As progress through studies, students become increasingly exposed to the vast and sometimes overwhelming world of scientific research. Evidence-based medicine will be the backbone of your future practice, and with this in mind, the Medical University of Gdańsk would like to invite you to the second edition the Essentials of a Young Researcher workshop series!
The Office of the “Excellence Initiative – Research University” Program has prepared an offer for students interested in scientific careers and Ph.D. students. The course, organised in cooperation with the Students’ Scientific Association, is designed to develop the competencies needed to function in the modern world of science, which are not possible to acquire during the standard curriculum. More than 50 people signed up to take part in the previous edition.
During the meetings, it will be possible to find out, among other things, what an Impact Factor is or to talk about one’s research in the company of lecturers with a passion for teaching and mentoring scientific work. Detailed information about the course can be found on the IDUB website.
The topics and schedule of meetings can be found below. The meetings will be held in English.
