S-DISCO Days
The International Master of Science in Sustainable Drug Discovery (S-DISCO) is happy to invite you to participate in the International Sustainable Drug Discovery Conference. The conference will be held on March 25-26, 2024 at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Gdańsk under the honorary patronage of MUG’s Rector Prof. Marcin Gruchała.
S-DISCO days is an international scientific conference, that aims to bring together students, academics, and professionals to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in this field. Its goal is to foster dialogue, collaboration and promote innovation in the area of sustainable drug discovery.
The conference aims to expand knowledge on sustainability in drug discovery.
The first day will feature:
- two plenary speakers who are active in the field of sustainable drug discovery,
- speakers from both academia and industry, highlighting emerging sustainability trends in the pharmaceutical sector,
- participants can showcase their research by presenting a poster at the conference. The deadline for the poster presentation application is March 18, 2024.
The second day will bring together research groups to discuss their latest research on sustainability across the drug discovery pipeline. It will also include two workshops, giving participants practical skills to translate into their work and studies.
Participation is free, possible for one or both days and can be online or in-person. Lunch will be provided for in-person participation.
