Visit of experts from the Klaipeda University

A delegation from Klaipeda University: Prof. Artūras Razbadauskas, Rector of the KU; Audrius Simaitis, Ph.D., CEO of the Klaipeda’s University Hospital and Prof. Rita Vaičekauskaitė, Dean of the Health Science Faculty visited the Medical University of Gdańsk on 21st of February 2024. The guests wanted to learn more about our University, the hospital, MUG’s initiatives, and international collaborations.

The visitors had the opportunity to meet the MUG’s representatives including: Prof. Michał Markuszewski, Vice-Rector for Science; Prof. Agnieszka Zimmermann, Vice-Rector for Quality of Teaching and Prof. Tomasz Bączek, Rector’s plenipotentary for the Excellence Initiative – Research University Program, as well as Adam Sudoł, M.D., Deputy General Director of the UCC for Medical Logistics; Wojciech Kiedrowski, Vice-Chancellor for Information Technology and Telecommunications; Dawid Spychała, Ph.D., Head of the Department of International Relations and Mateusz Kirjak from teh Department of Research Projects of the MUG.

During their visit, guests were taken on a tour of the MUG’s Centre of Medical Simulations guided by its Head Prof. Leszek Bieniaszewski, and the University Clinical Centre, where they gained valuable insights into our facilities and practices.
