Another professors with nominations

Two scientists from the Medical University of Gdańsk received professor nominations on 10th of January 2024 in the Belweder Palace. The President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda handed them for: Prof. Ludmiła Daniłowicz-Szymanowicz, Head of the 2nd Department of Cardiology and the Division of Cardiology & Electrotherapy, as well as Prof. Tomasz Gos from the Department of Forensic Medicine.

The work of Prof. Ludmiła Daniłowicz-Szymanowicz includes, among others, development and implementation of modern technologies in heart electrotherapy, as well as diagnosis and methods of treatment of diseases of this organ. Her Hirsch index is 17. Professor Tomasz Gos is a specialist in forensic medicine with a Hirsch index of 27. His research focuses, among others, on changes occurring in the organisms of drug users and the search for neurological causes of suicide.
