Conference "Free radicals in biology, medicine, sport, and nutrition"

Under the institutional patronage of the Medical University of Gdańsk, a conference entitled Free radicals in biology, medicine, sport, and nutrition in memory of Prof. Jerzy Popinigis will be held at the Atheneum Gedanense Novum building on 20-21 October 2023. The event is organised by a committee headed by Prof. Jędrzej Antosiewicz, Head of the Division of Bioenergetics and Physiology of Exercise of the MUG.

The meeting programme includes speeches by experts from Poland and abroad, including numerous representatives of our University. They will discuss issues in nutrition, sports health, and medicine. A poster session combined with a competition for the best paper is also planned.

Participation in the conference is payable and requires pre-registration. Until 15 September 2023, registration for all participants is subject to a reduced fee, and students and postgraduates are completely exempt from paying the fee.
