Matriculation of new English Division students

The matriculation of new English Division students took place on 27th of September 2023 at Prof. Olgierd Narkiewicz Lecture Hall at the Atheneum Gedanense Novum building.

Behind the presidential table sat: Prof. Marcin Gruchała – Rector of the MUG, Prof. Radosław Owczuk – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Przemysław Rutkowski – Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences with the Institute of Maritime and Tropical Medicine and Deputy-Deans of the Faculty of Medicine: Prof. Ewa Słomińska, Dr. Habil. Maria Bieniaszewska, Prof. Aida Kusiak, Prof. Paweł Zagożdżon, Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki and Dr. Habil. Danuta Siluk, Assoc. Prof. – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Dr. Habil. Sławomir Wójcik – Head of the Admissions Office was also present. The entire meeting was chaired by Narcyz Knap, Ph.D. from the Department of Medical Chemistry, supervisor of first-year medical ED students.

The new students took the oath of office at the hands of Prof. Radoslaw Owczuk. Then congratulatory letters were read out by Prof. Paweł Zagożdżon, Dr. Habil. Danuta Siluk, Assoc. Prof. and Prof. Przemysław Rutkowski to the students who obtained the highest scores in the admission process. Prof. Marcin Gruchała and Prof. Paweł Zagożdżon also addressed a few words to the newly admitted students. The last to speake was Abdullah Shuab – 2nd year medical-ED student.
