The profession of a midwife is mostly associated with a person who mainly focuses on delivering babies or caring for a pregnant woman, but it is a much broader profession and concerns caring for a woman at every stage of life – said Wanda Kwiatkowska, President of the SSC Przyszłe Położne. – This is an amazing honor for us. The enormity of work that we have put in over these 3 years has been distinguished in a way that is extremely important to us. We are very proud and happy about it. We would like to thank all the students who make up this Circle, as well as our supervisor Anna Szablewska, Ph.D. for her great work, motivation, coordination and for all the work that we carry out as our Circle.

University is a place where extraordinary people meet. At the medical university, they are very ethical, well-motivated people who are willing to help others. Undoubtedly, these are the qualities of the ladies who won this year’s competition. We are extremely proud of them. The students redefine the place of the midwife in the life of each of us – said Dr. Habil. Tomasz Smiatacz, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs. – At the MUG, we attach great importance to cooperation, in accordance with the idea of the Statute of the Red Rose Association, from generation to generation, older colleagues support younger ones in shaping attitudes, interests and ambitions.
