Scholarships of the Minister of Health for our students

MUG’s 5th and 6th year medical students: Karol Kołkowski, Wojciech Nazar, Karolina Polewska, Bartosz Sobocki, Piotr Tylicki and Zuzanna Świerczewska obtained scholarships of the Minister of Health for significant scientific achievements. The awards were presented by the Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski together with the Deputy Minister Piotr Bromber. At the ceremony on 22nd of April 2023 in Warsaw also participated Dr. Habil. Tomasz Smiatacz, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs.

In total, 47 such distinctions were awarded to the most talented students of medical universities for scientific achievements in the academic year 2022/2023. Each winner received 17 000 PLN.

– Today we appreciate young people, their academic performance and commitment. You go beyond the standard of education. It is also thanks to your professors, thanks to whom you broaden your horizons. I hope that the scholarships will continue to motivate you to work – pointed Minister Adam Niedzielski.

The scholarship of the Minister of Health for significant scientific achievements may be awarded to, among others, authors or co-authors of scientific articles, monograph chapters and papers presented at conferences. It is entitled to undergraduate and graduate studies as well as uniform master’s studies. Detailed information on the scholarship is available on the Polish-language website of the Ministry. The application for a student award is submitted by the Rector of a given university.
