Prof. Tomasz Zdrojewski

The Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences appointed members of the problem committees and councils for the 2023-2026 term. The group of experts nominated to the Forecast Committee of the PAS included Prof. Tomasz Zdrojewski, Head of the Division of Preventive Medicine & Education of the Medical University of Gdańsk, specialist in internal medicine and hypertensiology, Head of the team implementing the PolSenior 2 project, nationwide health survey older Poles, their socio-economic situation and quality of life.

The Forecast Committee of the PAS aims to initiate and organize scientific studies on, among others, the need to modify the contemporary model of social, economic and political relations in Europe and in the world, as well as cultural and educational changes.
