Christmas meeting of employees of the University and medical entities of the MUG

The community of the Medical University of Gdańsk, the University Clinical Centre, the University Maritime and Tropical Medicine Centre, the University Dentistry Centre and the Family Medicine Centre met on 21st of December 2022 at the Invasive Medicine Center to wish each other Christmas wishes. On behalf of the University authorities, all the best wishes Prof. Marcin Gruchała, Rector of the MUG. The Director of UCC Jakub Kraszewski, the director of UMTMC Prof. Marcin Renke, President of UDC Mirosława Pellowska-Piontek, Ph.D. and president of FMC Piotr Gutknecht, Ph.D. The musical setting of the meeting was provided by the Choir and Orchestra of the Medical University of Gdańsk. The choristers sang the most beautiful Polish Christmas carols, while the Orchestra played Christmas hits.

During the meeting, it was possible to participate in workshops organized by floristic studios. Volunteers prepared compositions of cones, openwork stars, burned ornaments in pendants made of wood slices and decorated gingerbread. Some of the decorations were hung on a Christmas tree in the Invasive Medicine Centre. The rest of the decorations were prepared by little patients under the supervision of teachers from Primary School No. 90 at the UCC in Gdańsk.
