MUG specialist a delegate to the IFNA

Przemysław Żuratyński, Ph.D.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Polish Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Nurses (Polskie Towarzystwo Pielęgniarek Anestezjologicznych i Intensywnej Opieki – PTPAiIO) Przemysław Żuratyński, Ph.D. from the Division of Medical Rescue at the MUG, has been appointed as the Society’s delegate to the International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA).

The International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists represents nurse anesthetists worldwide, supports and enhances the quality of care they provide and participates in the formulation and implementation of health policy. Its goals include:

• promoting cooperation among anesthesia nurses internationally,
• developing and promoting educational standards and practice in the field of anesthesia nursing,
• providing continuing education opportunities in the field of anesthesia,
• assisting national associations of anesthesia nurses in implementing programs to improve their competence and work standards,
• improving access to safe anesthesia care and universal health worldwide.

Przemysław Żuratyński, Ph.D. is a paramedic and nurse specialist in anesthesia and intensive care nursing. He has professional experience in various types of structures related to these fields of medicine.
