Project "Let's change studies together!" awarded

Aleksandra Drzycimska, chairwoman of the University Student Government of the Medical University of Gdańsk, is co-author of the project Together Let’s Change Studies!, which won in the category Studies for Better. The awards were presented on October 26, 2022, at the 10th “Pro Juvenes” Student Environment Awards Gala, which was organized by the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland.

The winning project involved finding out the opinions of students of selected medical faculties on the quality of education and preparation for the profession.

– The questionnaire was addressed to students of medical analytics, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, midwifery, and emergency medicine. The results obtained were used to prepare a report, which was presented to the Ministry of Health, and were also used during the committee’s work on changes to the educational standards for the various majors – Aleksandra Drzycimska explains.

As the organizers emphasize, the purpose of the competition is to promote active students and their initiatives and to highlight the merits of individuals and entities that are student-friendly and support the potential of young people. By presenting the “Pro Juvenes” awards, the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland wants to create a good atmosphere of mutual interaction in the academic environment and integrate students from all over Poland.
