The Ambassador of Bangladesh visited our University

Representatives of the Medical University of Gdańsk: the Rector Prof. Marcin Gruchała and Head of the University’s Internationalization Office Ewa Kiszka on October 26, 2022, took part in a meeting with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Poland Sultana Laila Hossain. The event was also attended by Jan Zacharewicz, Honorary Consul of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Poland. It was held as part of the Ambassador’s ongoing visit to the Tri-City from October 24-26, 2022. It included meetings with the authorities of Gdansk, Sopot, and Gdynia, local entrepreneurs, and university rectors.

– Today’s talks concerned the possibility of educating Bangladeshi students at our University. There is currently 1 student from this country studying within the walls of the MUG. We also discussed establishing new scientific relations and intensifying existing ones. We also touched on issues related to multifaceted and interdisciplinary cooperation between GUMed and Bangla universities and scientists – explains Ewa Kiszka.
