Michał Bystram (3-year 2nd degree MSc, public health) is the first student of the Medical University of Gdańsk to become a member of the Young Professionals Programme initiative at the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region, ASPHER.
Only 14 students were selected for the program out of 70 applicants from around the world. Participants will take part in several projects carried out by ASPHER, which will enable them to gain international experience.
The association works to strengthen the role of public health by improving the quality of education and creating a network of the best universities providing education in this area. The Young Professionals Programme project offers the opportunity to join research collaborations with scientists from all over the world, exchange experiences, and co-author reports and publications on the current state of the field, among other things. In addition, the initiative aims to educate young scientists and popularize knowledge on public health.
