Iga Lipska, Ph.D., acting from the beginning of July 2022 as Deputy Director of the Clinical Research Support Centre of the MUG, became the Co-Chair of the HB-HTA (Hospital-Based Health Technology Assessment) working group operating within the Health Technology Assessment international organization. The second Co-Chair of the HB-HTA group became Rosella Di Bidino, Ph.D. from the Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli in Rome.
At the meeting of the HB-HTA working group held on 27th of June 2022 in Utrecht, Iga Lipska, Ph.D. presented the results of the project Implementation of the Hospital-Based HTA – Hospital Assessment of Innovative Medical Technologies, finansed by the National Centre for Research and Development. The project, led by Dr. Lipska, was carried out by a consortium composed of the National Health Fund, the Lazarski University and the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski National Institute of Cardiology.
Health Technology Assessment is a recognized international organization with a global reach. The MUG’s specialist has been participating in the work of the HTA since 2004, taking part as a speaker in panel sessions and plenary sessions at conferences, incl. in Montreal, Dublin, Seoul and Rome.
