Graduation ceremony of the medical - ED studies alumni

One hundred and three graduates of medical – ED studies from 2016-2022 class received their diplomas. The event was held on 24th of June 2022 at the Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic in Gdańsk. During the ceremony chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Radosław Owczuk, attended by: MUG’s Vice-Rector for Development and Education Prof. Jacek Bigda, Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Ewa Słomińska, Prof. Aida Kusiak, Prof. Paweł Zagożdżon, Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki, as well as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Habil. Bartosz Wielgomas, Assoc. Prof. The event was hosted by graduates’ representatives Ewa Maria Sokolewicz, M.D. and Lana Ahmed, M.D.

After taking the oath, the graduates received their diplomas from the Vice-Rector Prof. Jacek Bigda, and the Dean Prof. Radosław Owczuk. Outstanding graduates were presented with congratulatory letters and awards.

Then the invited guests took the floor: Jacek Kaczmarek, Ph.D. – representative of MUG Alumni Association and Janusz Springer, M.D. from the Division of Preventive Medicine & Education. Prof. Ewa Król from the Department of Nephrology, Transplantology and Internal Diseases also was the guest invited by alumni. At the end of the ceremony, Lana Ahmed, M.D. spoke on behalf of the graduates. The event ended with a joint commemorative photo.
