Nominations for another professors

Three scientists from the Medical University of Gdańsk received on 18th of May 2022 in the Belvedere their professor’s nominations. From the hands of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, they received them: Prof. Iwona Inkielewicz-Stępniak, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Pathophysiology, Prof. Piotr Wąż from the Division of Nuclear Medicine, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the MUG, as well as Prof. Dariusz Wydra, Acting Head of the Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology.

First of the nominated scientists – Prof. Iwona Inkielewicz-Stępniak, works Stępniak, works on the broadly understood biochemistry and pharmacological use of various substances and their impact on the body. Her Hirsch index is 20 and the total IF is 164.691. The second of the new professors – Prof. Piotr Wąż is a physicist and expert in the field of biomedicine and health sciences, whose Hirsch index is 15 and IF is 107.108. The third researcher – Prof. Dariusz Wydra is a specialist in oncological gynecology and provincial consultant in this field with a Hirsch index of 17 and an IF of 161.906.
