EIT "From Scientists to Innovators for Industry" course

Technology Transfer Office of the MUG is recruiting for the From Scientists to Innovators for Industry training. It’s a 3-month course consisting of online modules, seminars, mentoring sessions and events. All activities are organized in cooperation with the best universities and industry partners from Europe. The consortium members are the Medical University of Gdańsk and: Medical University of Lodz, Universiteit Maastricht (Netherlands), National University of Ireland (Ireland), Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), University of Copenhagen (Denmark), Boehringer Ingelheim RCV (Austria), Philips Electronics (Netherlands), Asociatia INIT with the FreshBlood HealthTech Community (Romania), DEX Innovation Centre (Czech Republic), MADoPA (France), Roche (Denmark).

The course’s participants will be able to learn about the following topics:

  • communication, collaboration,
  • understanding customer needs, design thinking and prototyping,
  • strategic management,
  • problem solving and critical thinking,
  • project management,
  • operations management,
  • finance and market access.

In addition, modules with the following content are planned: intellectual property, medical device regulation and digital transformation.

The training series is addressed to doctoral students and young researchers who are interested in starting a career in industry or starting collaboration with industry in their research. Detailed plan is available on the website of the Technology Transfer Office of the MUG. Registration for the program can be done until 30th May 2022 on the SCI FI registration project page.

Within the course, there will be also held 2 information meetings planned on 8th April ant 2nd May 2022 in online form respectively. Separate registration is required for the first and second of them.
