Students of the MUG's University of the Third Age received certificates

Despite the difficulties related to the pandemic period, the third edition of the project Uruchomienie Uniwersytetu Trzeciego Wieku w Gdańskim Uniwersytecie Medycznym (Launching the University of the Third Age at the Medical University of Gdańsk) was successfully completed. It was carried out completely remotely via the ClickMeeting platform.

A total of 115 people aged over 60 from the Pomeranian Voivodeship participated in the classes. 72 students received certificates of completion. The youngest participant was 60 years old, the oldest 74. A total of 59 women and 14 men took part in the three editions of the project, including 35 women and 11 men in the third (online) edition of the project.

Inauguration of the first edition of the class (2019)

The classes of the last edition lasted three months and covered various topics in the field of medicine and health sciences. Students could expand their knowledge, among others on cancer, how to age healthily, and how not to get cheated in the store. They also had the opportunity to learn dance, of course in a safe online form. The classes were very popular and were positively assessed by the Students.
