MUG's scientists in the Scientific Board of the NICard

Professor Miłosz Jaguszewski from the 1st Department of Cardiology of the Medical University of Gdańsk has been appointed as a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science in the Scientific Board of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski National Institute of Cardiology (NICard). Moreover, Rector of our University, Professor Marcin Gruchała, Head of the 1st Department of Cardiology is a member of the X term of the Board which has begun on 26th of October 2021.

This is the first term during which the Ministry’s representative is a member of the Board. The aim of his appointment is to strengthen the cooperation between these institutions. In his activity Prof. Jaguszewski will support coordination of NICard’s activities and initiatives implemented by the Ministry. His tasks include also i.e. voting in matters regarding reviewing strategical development directions, evaluation of requests on Institute’s development and its research, as well as the activity in education and assigning allowances connected with that.
