18th International Academy of Dermatology and Allergology

The 18th International Academy of Dermatology and Allergology (18 ADA), traditionally organized in February on the occasion of the XXX World Day of the Sick, takes place in a hybrid environment.

We can participate in it “live” in Gdynia and conveniently connect with us online without leaving home. We have prepared for you:

  • 9 scientific and training sessions,
  • 6 training workshops,
  • a Hot Topic devoted to psoriasis,
  • a special Sunday session, organized to the occasion of the XXX World Day of the Sick,

with the participation of an outstanding cardiologist, Lady of the Order of the White Eagle, Prof. Grażyna Świątecka, the creator of the first Helpline in Poland.

During the first session, Dermatology and Allergology without Borders, our foreign friends from Belarus, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, and the USA will present 9 extremely interesting presentations. The famous American dermatologist Prof. Robert A. Schwartz, a pioneer in the field of research on paraneoplastic syndromes and skin cancers, will talk about toxic epidermal necrolysis.

We will begin the inaugural session at 5:20 pm with lectures by:

  • Prof. Marcin Moniuszko – the head of the project, under which a gene was identified that doubles the risk of severe COVID-19 symptoms,
  • Prof. Lidia Rudnicka – president of the Polish Dermatological Society,
  • Prof. Maciej Kupczyk – president of the Polish Society of Allergology, and
  • Prof. Tomasz Bączek – a member of the Central Council of Science and Higher Education.
  • Important anniversaries for allergists in 2021/22 will be presented by Prof. Jerzy Kruszewski.

On Saturday at 8:00 am, We invite everyone to show interesting clinical cases. Following that, many more interesting presentations will be conferred until 8:00 p.m. The special guest of the Interdisciplinary AZS session will be a famous German dermatologist, creator of proactive therapy with the use of tacrolimus, Prof. Andreas Wollenberg from the University Clinic of Munich (LMU).

18. ADA is addressed to allergists, dermatologists, pediatricians, family medicine specialists, primary care physicians, and all practitioners who wish to update and expand their knowledge of allergic dermatoses, angioedema, psoriasis, dermato-oncology, and new methods of biological therapy. The highest priority for us is having high-quality lectures presented. Important novelties presented in an accessible and attractive manner by well-known experts guarantee that your knowledge necessary to conduct medical practice is updated based on the latest standards and current recommendations. Registered Participants of the 18.ADA will receive educational points confirmed by a commemorative personal certificate and summaries of the presented presentations.
