Dr. Habil. Aleksandra Gaworska-Krzemińska, Deputy Dean for Promotion and Development of the Faculty of Health Sciences, leading the Institute of Nursing and Midwifery and the Division of Nursing Management at the MUG on October 27 this year became the Vice-President of the National Accreditation Council for Schools of Nursing and Midwifery (Krajowa Rada Akredytacyjna Szkół Pielęgniarek i Położnych) for the 2021-2025 term. The election took place on 27 October at the Ministry of Health. The National Council is composed of up to 12 members who are appointed and dismissed by the Minister of Health. The members represent higher education institutions in Poland and professional organizations and associations.
Each university that wants to offer nursing or midwifery studies must be accredited by the Minister of Health, who makes a relevant decision based on the recommendation of the National Accreditation Council for Schools of Nursing and Midwifery.
