It’s a gratitude – in behalf of all Gdynia citizens – to workers of all professional groups of healthcare for their everyday work. How difficult in this tough time of pandemic – said city’s President Wojciech Szczurek.

People, who became famous in the last year for caring for the health of the inhabitants of our city. We will be presenting the President’s awards to these people. Gdynia is one of the few cities where the President gives such awards to healthcare workers. I have no doubts, that today we will have the opportunity to meet those people, who have engaged in a special way in all the activities that allowed us to feel healthy today. – added Bartosz Bartoszewicz, Vice-President of Gdynia for Life Quality.
Gdynia’s medics have been awarded since 1998. In more than 20 years, almost 500 people involved in local health care were awarded, including 13 doctors, 13 nurses and midwives, and 4 people working in a different medical profession.
