MUG's graduate in the Presidential Council for Youth Affairs

Nicole Geryk, this-year MUG’s medical studies graduate has been appointed by President Andrzej Duda to the Council for Youth Affairs as a representative of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations IFMSA-Poland. In the past she has been i.e. President and Treasurer of the IFMSA and now she holds the position of Assistant for External Affairs and Social Media of the National Coordinator for Public Health. The appointment and inaugural session of the Council took place on 14th of October 2021 in the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.

Newly created advisory body is intended to strengthen a debate concerning youth affairs. Its tasks are i.e.: current situation analysing, conducting public actions concerning youth, preparing opinions for the President of Poland, creating a forum for debate and social dialogue, creating assumptions and projects of the presidential legislation initiatives concerning youth and cooperation with youth civil organizations and government and self-government institutions.
