Inauguration of the academic year 2022/2023
10th of October 2022 at 10 a.m.
The programme shall include among others:
- inaugural speech by Prof. Marcin Gruchała, the Rector of the MUG
- speech by Adam Niedzielski, PHhD, Minister of Health
- handing of decorations and distinctions
- awarding the Roman Kaliszan Prize and Medal
- awarding the Medal of Merit for the MUG
- matriculation
- speeches by the invited guests
- speech and inaugural lecture by Prof. Tomasz Zdrojewski entitled The mission and potential of medical universities in creating modern health policy – the PolSenior2 project.
Due to the inauguration ceremony of the new academic year 2022/2023 on 10 October 2022, rector’s hours are now established from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all employees, students and doctoral students at the Medical University of Gdańsk according to the rules mentioned in the Rules of study.
