Prof. Wojciech Kamysz

Prof. Wojciech Kamysz, Head of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Gdańsk, has been appointed to the Scientific Council of the National Medicines Institute. The Professor’s scientific interests focus on the design and synthesis of new peptide drugs.

The National Medicines Institute in Warsaw is involved in a wide range of activities for the benefit of health protection in Poland. It is also the largest medicinal products control laboratory in the European Union. The Scientific Council of the NIL is responsible for, among others, coordination of numerous research projects, shaping drug policy, and awarding doctoral degrees in pharmaceutical sciences.
