Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences in the Pomeranian Women's Affairs Team

Prof. Przemysław Rutkowski, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences with the Institute of Maritime and Tropical Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk, is a member of the Pomeranian Women’s Affairs Team appointed by the Marshall of Pomorskie Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk. It was established on 24 June 2021 for the term of 3 years. The nomination of 22 members of the Team took place on 9 July 2021 in the Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship.

The tasks of the newly established body will include promoting attitudes related to women’s equality in work, pay, and professional advancement. It will also monitor other organisations and institutions in terms of compliance with the principles of equal treatment. The team is to be an advisory, consultative and initiative body operating under the authority of the Pomorskie Voivodeship Board. Its establishment is related to the implementation of Pomorskie Voivodeship Development Strategy 2030, which assumes the promotion of equality and social inclusion of all residents of the region regardless of gender, race, religion, belief, and other factors.
