The University Committee chaired by Dr. Habil. Tomasz Smiatacz, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, announced the best student and the best scientific circle in the university preliminaries of the Red Rose Award (nagroda Czerwonej Róży) competition on May 18th. During the final, which will take place on 15th November this year. The Medical University of Gdańsk will be represented by: Karol Steckiewicz (6th year medicine student) in the best student category and SKN Pasjonaci Pediatrii (Scientific Circle Pediatric Enthusiasts) in the scientific circle category.

The national stage of the competition will take place at the University of Gdańsk, where on November 15th candidates will publicly present themselves before the Competition Jury. The announcement of the results and the award ceremony will take place on November 21st this year.
