Meet our Expert of the International Advisory Council of the MUG

Professor Giuseppe Mancia will be the guest speaker of the third webinar in the Meet our Expert of the International Advisory Council of the MUG series, with a lecture White Coat Hypertension. The event will take place on May 24, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The webinar will take place on the Clickmeeting platform. To participate in the event, please fill out the registration form.

Professor Mancia’s main research interests focus on the epidemiology pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, heart failure, and coronary disease, as well as on the clinical aspects of diabetes, obesity and other metabolic abnormalities. His expertise ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, neurohumoral control of the circulation, large artery mechanics, hemodynamic changes of cardiovascular drugs as well as epidemiology and intervention trials in hypertension and diabetes.

Giuseppe Mancia is Professor Emeritus of the University Milano-Bicocca and President of the Foundation of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH). Professor Mancia has received many prestigious awards, including the AHA Award for Excellence in Hypertension Research, the Heymans Award of the International Society of Pharmacology, the Wright International Award of the High Blood Pressure Council of Australia.

As part of the Excellence Initiative – Research University Program series of webinars will be hosted in coming months titled Meet our Expert of the International Advisory Council of the MUG. Efficient management of the University’s development in the field of research requires verification of activities and ongoing correction of implemented initiatives.
