Students of the MUG on the ANSA Board

Three representatives of the Medical University of Gdańsk have been appointed to the board of the Polish branch of ANSA (Assocation of Norwegian Students Abroad). Which are:

  • Karoline Otlo Gjerde (4th year medical student – ED), the Chairperson of the Board,
  • Miran Faraj (3th year medical student – ED), Board Member,
  • Asif Malik (3th year medical student – ED), Board Member.

ANSA is an organisation for Norwegian students studying outside of Norway. It has more than 10,000 members present at more than 1,200 universities and in more than 90 countries around the world. The main objective of ANSA is to provide current and prospective students with information about education in each country, and to act as an intermediary between them and the Norwegian government. The organisation’s strategy is based on using the diversity resulting from different knowledge acquired by different people to support students so that they can best fit into the Norwegian labour market. It also cooperates with similar associations formed by representatives of other nationalities.

The Board of ANSA Polen has a total of 10 members, 3 of whom are students are from the MUG. More information about the organisation is available in Norwegian on the website.
