Pioneering internship for ED graduates

The Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Gdańsk is the first in Poland to organize a six-month practical training in English for graduates of the English Division matching to the range of the clinical part of the postgraduate internship program.

The internship is being led by the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk. Unitil now, 12 graduates of the medical major of the English Division have participated in it, with 8 graduating on April 27, 2021. 17 students of the 6th year of the English Division medical faculty have already applied to participate in the program after graduation.

The internship is supervised by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Habil. Kamil Chwojnicki, and coordinated by Tomasz Łopaciński, Ph.D., Aleksandra Kroll-Kiszczak, M.D., is the coordinator of the internship from the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Medicine – Department of Student’s Affairs.
