Population Vaccination Point at the Sports Centre of the MUG

More than 4,300 people a day, and up to 100,000 a month, will be able to get vaccinated at the Population Vaccination Point being built at the Sports Centre of the Medical University of Gdańsk. The facility, located at Debowa 21 Street, will be the largest COVID-19 vaccination place in Pomerania. First patients were admitted on April 23rd. The opening was attended by Rector of the MUG Professor Marcin Gruchała, Pomeranian Voivode Dariusz Drelich, Mayor of Gdańsk Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, Director of Pomeranian Department of the National Health Fund Monika Kasprzyk and Executive Director of the University Clinical Center Jakub Kraszewski.

The Sports Centre has 38 medical and nursing stations operated by personel of UCC and MUG’s students. Vaccinations are carried out from 8:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Saturday.

People who want to get vaccinated may register by calling free 24/7 helpline (phone number: 989) or by visiting a proper government website. Additionally, registration is being carried on through UCC helpline (phone number: (58) 727 05 05 int. 4). UCC helpline is accessible from Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 21:00 and in Saturdays from 9:00 to 21:00.
