Our student in the Review Board of the Polish National Youth Council

Our University’s sixth year student of Faculty of Medicine Nicole Geryk has become a memeber of the Review Board of the Polish National Youth Council (Polska Rada Organizacji Młodzieżowych – PROM), as a representative of the International Federation of Medical Student Associations IFMSA-Poland. The election took place during the annual Meeting of Members of the Polish National Youth Council (PROM) held on 10/04/2021. Due to the epidemic situation, the meeting was conducted online.

During her two-year term as a member student will complete tasks such as:

• ongoing collaboration with the Board,
• supervising its activities and decisions,
• overseeing the costs of the Council’s finances and its financial situation overall.

The Polish National Youth Council (Polska Rada Organizacji Młodzieżowych – PROM) is a forum for cooperation between non-governmental organizations. It also serves as the National Youth Council at the European Youth Forum. Its purpose is to popularize the participation of young people in public life, inform public opinion about the state of youth policy in Poland and represent its member organizations. But the most important task is to take action to create a coherent and modern policy for youth in Poland.
