The MUG with "NAWA Medic" scholarships

The Medical University of Gdańsk received funding for two scholarships as part of the NAWA Medic pilot program. The mentor of scholarship holders will be Aleksandra Gaworska-Krzemińska, Ph.D., D.Sc. acting director of the Institute of Nursing and Midwifery at the MUG. The total funding for our University is 138 000 PLN.

Fellowships were given to two UK nurses with professional qualifications and competences necessary to educate students and doctoral students. In the academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022, they will conduct classes in geriatric, pediatric, surgical and multicultural nursing. This project will allow to increase international cooperation in the field of broadly understood medical sciences and to share good practices in this profession.

The aim of the program of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange is to strengthen the teaching and practical potential of universities providing education in medical professions.
